  • Budget & School Board Candidate Vote -  Ballots must be recieved by June 16th 2020.

  • Budget Vote to be held by absentee ballot only. Absentee ballots will be mailed to all registered voters by May 26, 2020  and must be received by June 16th 2020. 

Important Information for Voter Registration for the Budget and the School Board Candidate Vote :

In light of the limitations posed by COVID-19, there will be no in-person voter registration held at school district offices.  If you are not currently registered to vote, registration with the County Board of Elections is available online through the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles website at https://dmv.ny.gov/more-info/electronic-voter-registration-applicationThose wishing to register online must do so by May 26, 2020.

June 8, 2020  Governor Cuomo has issued Executive Order 202.39 concerning the receipt of absentee ballots in the 2020 budget vote and election.

 

The Executive Order 202.39 states any absentee ballot received by mail in the office of the District Clerk, or designee of the trustees or school board, by June 16, 2020 at 5:00 pm shall be canvassed and counted for the budget vote and election held on June 9, 2020. No absentee ballots shall be accepted after 5:00 pm on June 9, 2020, except those absentee ballots received by mail. In addition, if school districts are using a receptacle(s) for receipt of hand- delivered absentee ballots, such receptacle(s) must be closed and removed by 5:00 pm on June 9, 2020. All absentee ballots shall be canvassed and counted after 5:00 pm on June 16, 2020.

• Definition of a qualified voter: o A citizen of the United States. o Eighteen years of age. o A resident within the district for a period of 30 days prior to the date of the election. o Qualified to register for or vote at an election in accordance with the provisions of section 5-106 of the election law.
