On Sept. 5, 2024, the Carle Place Union Free School District joyfully opened its doors for the new academic year. Students and staff alike were greeted with excitement, ready for a year filled with learning and growth. Notable highlights include the launch of the Universal Pre-K program, hosted in the newly renovated high school math and science room, and the return of the varsity football team, marking its first independent program since 2007.
“We are thrilled to see our students back in action, embracing all the opportunities this school year brings,” Superintendent of Schools Dr. Ted Cannone said. “From new programs like UPK to our newly independent football team, there’s so much to be proud of. This year is set to be one of substantial growth and success.”
The new bathrooms at the football field are expected to be operational in the coming weeks, adding to the many exciting updates taking place. The Carle Place community is looking forward to an engaging and rewarding 2024-2025 school year.
