On Oct. 30, the Carle Place Educational Foundation hosted its annual Hicks Night, an event dedicated to bringing the Carle Place community together to support and raise awarenss for the foundation. The night featured beautiful performances from Cherry Lane Elementary’s second graders, Rushmore Avenue’s fifth graders, the Carle Place Middle School orchestra and the Carle Place High School jazz band and chorus.
Hicks Night, which was previously held at Hicks Nursery, occurred at Carle Place High School. The auditorium was decorated with pumpkins and autumn-themed décor sponsored by Hicks Nursery, and each participating student received a pumpkin to take home. Dunkin Donuts also contributed to the events by donating over 100 donuts for attendees to enjoy.
Families and students from throughout the district gathered to support the Carle Place Educational Foundation while enjoying performances from all four schools, making this year’s Hicks Night a success!
