Scholars in Ms. Mehling’s AP Research class got “married” in a symbolic wedding ceremony to celebrate their yearlong commitment to their research topics. The wedding, which was officiated by Mr. Foraker, allowed students to showcase their Research Question, Value and Method. By the end of April, each student will complete a comprehensive 4,000- to 5,000-word academic research paper and deliver a 15- to 20-minute presentation with an oral defense. This is the second and final course needed to complete the prestigious AP Capstone program.
