As the Carle Place Board of Education and administration begin the process of preparing the proposed budget for the 2025-26 school year, residents are invited to attend a series of upcoming planning workshops and budget presentations.

“Over the next several months, we will be working diligently to prepare a spending plan that will be proposed to voters on Tuesday, May 20,” said Superintendent of Schools Dr. Ted Cannone. “We encourage community participation, input and feedback throughout our planning process.”

Upcoming workshops will take place in the Carle Place High School’s Barry Dennis Conference room beginning at 8 p.m. They are planned for:

• Thursday, Feb. 6

• Thursday, Feb. 27

• Thursday, March 6

• Thursday, March 20

The proposed budget will be adopted at the Board meeting on Thursday, April 3.

Additionally, all information related to the proposed budget will be posted to the district’s website, ww.cps.k12.ny.us.
